Andy joins Gaffney Physical Therapy as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He attributes his principles for improving movement and mobility to his background in Crossfit and Kettlebell. He has attended local conferences on a number of topics including preventing and treating ACL and shoulder injuries. Prior to joining Gaffney PT, Andy graduated from the Rhode Island Municipal Police Academy in 2006. During his career as a police officer, he was a member of the Special Reaction Team and an instructor at the Citizen's Police Academy. Through this, Andy met Alisa and found a new appreciation for rehabilitating others. He re-certified as a personal trainer and obtained a certification in post-rehab exercise. In 2017, Andy earned the credential of CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) through the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association).
